The work inspector shall be responsible for Inspecting and approving all material and completed works to ensure compliance with technical specification requirements. The work inspector shall ensure measuring quantities of drainage works satisfactorily carried out on daily basis. He/she will be responsible keeping all record including reports, works diaries, correspondence instruction given to contractor(s), and any other matter relating to drainage structure on day to day basis. Must preparation and submission of min progress report with update cost of drainage workman daily basis. In addition, he/she must maintain a site diary on a daily basis with the contents and format to be agreed with Employer.
He/she must possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution/ College. Must be registered as Graduate/Professional Engineer with ERB. Having at least 3 years cumulative experience related to bridge/drainage design and construction. Self motivated and able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision. Must be fluent in English Language and must be a Tanzania Citizen.
JOB TITTLE: CAD TECHNICIAN (1 Post)
The CAD Expect shall be fully responsible for roads and bridges CAD Drawings, preparing and running Animations for the projects.
She/He must possess a minimum of Diploma in Civil or Highway Engineering from recognized Institution. She/He must be a registered with ERB as Civil Technician. She/he must have five (5) years specific experience in drawing and drafting of Road/Highway Works and construction. She/He must have served in a similar capacity on at least two (2) road construction projects in the last 5 years. In addition, He/She must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Sahara countries. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
JOB TITTLE: BRIDGE/DRAINANGE ENGINEER (1 Post)
The Bridge/ Drainage Engineer shall be fully responsible for structural analysis, designing of bridge/Drainage elements and detailing. He/She will be responsible for the assessment of existing Bridges and design of new Bridges and shall all drainage structures along the project road including submission of the report. He/She should have ability to read and interpret project specifications.
He/She must possess Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification. He/She must have at least Ten (10) of specific experience in road design related to similar. Assignment He/She must be have served as a Bridge Drainage Engineer on at least two (2) projects of similar magnitude and complexity within the last 10 years. Post graduate qualification in Structural/Bridge Engineering is an added advantage. Knowledge in computer applications and fluency in written and spoken English are mandatory.
JOB TITTLE: HIGHWAY ENGINEER (1Post)
The Highway Engineer shall be full responsible for the supervision of the construction in accordance with the provision of Contract. He/She shall supervise the construction works with due diligence and efficiency and in accordance with sound technical, administrative, financial and economic practices. He/She shall perform all duties associated with such tasks to ensure that only the best construction practices are followed and that the final product is in all respects equal to or better than that specified, at the most economic cost and is carries out in full compliance with the governing specifications.
She/He must be a registered Professional Civil Engineer with a degree in civil Engineering or Highway Engineering Postgraduate qualification in Highway Engineering is an added advantage. She/ He must have a minimum of Ten (10) years of specific experience related to road design and construction supervision. She/He must have served in similar capacity on atleast two (2) projects for construct ion of bituminous roads of similar magnitude and complexity in the last ten (10) years. His/Her duties shall comprise road surveys, construction of pavement structure, measuring of quantities and management of site operation. In addition, he/she must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub- Sahara countries. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
JOB TITTLE: MATERIALS ENGINEER (1 Post)
The Soil/ Material Engineer shall be responsible for conducting and supervising the material investigation with a view to achieving optimal design and construction strategy. The Soil/Materials Engineer shall carry out the pavement design and should be conversant with current practice in testing and pavement construction techniques.
She/He must be a registered professional Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or pavement or Material Engineering. Postgraduate qualification in pavement or material Engineering is an added advance. She/He must have a minimum of Ten (10) years of Specific experience in Pavement /Material matters related to road works. She /He must have served in a similar capacity on at least two (2) road projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the last 10 years. She/He shall be responsible for ensuring the quality of all material to be incorporate in the works, as well as the completed works, conform to the contract specifications. In addition, He/She must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub – Sahara countries. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
