Tanzania nssf | how do i check my nssf balance?

According to Section 6 of the NSSF Act, the following categories of employers and employees are registrable by the Fund. These categories include the following;

Private Sector which includes: –

Companies
Non-governmental organizations
Religious organizations.

The National Social Security Fund contribution payable by the employer is twenty per centum (20%) of the employee’s monthly wages

Employee contribute 10%
Employer contribute 10%
Employer may opt to contribute at grater rate.

You can check your NSSF balance using Tigo or Vodacom (I don’t know about other networks like Airtel, Zantel n.k But if your interested on NSSF Tanzania Balance Check with other network operator you can always contact Nssf Tanzania using the contact information shown below)

How to check NSSF balance | NSSF Salio kwa Sms

Start using Tigo or Vodacom by sending a message with REGISTER followed by your NSSF membership number to 15747.
After sending the message you will receive a welcome message on NSSF Mobile registration. That is, the message informs you that you are registered on NSSF Mobile.
After you have received the confirmation message your next step is to write a message with the word SALIO followed by your NSSF membership number and send it to 15747.
There you will see your NSSF Balance.

NOTE: In some cases The balance that may be shown when you request Nssf Balance Using mobile may differ from the balance that you wqill be given when you personally visit NSSF office and ask for the balance.

This is because there may be some delay occurs when updating information the the system. For accurate results we recommend you to visit any nearby Nssf Tanzania office and request the balance.
