Good News: Tanzania Government to Employ New 44, 811 Servants

Tanzania government expects to employ 44,811 new employees in the financial year 2020/2021.
Minister of State in the Office of the President’s Public Service Management and Good Governance, George Mkuchika made the statement on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 as he presented his budget for that fiscal year.
He has referred to the new jobs as education (13,529), health (10,467), agriculture, livestock and fisheries (2,145), the Police Force (2,725), prisons (685), the Army (501), immigration (495) and hospitals of religious and voluntary organizations (1,262).
In addition, he said the Tanzania Government intends to employ 13,002 staff of other professions including lecturers of public universities in the country.
Mkuchika also said the government would promote 222,290 staff of various cadres according to the instructions.
